A boyhood love of surfing grew into a lifelong passion for the sport and produced an artist in the process. Riding the waves of San Clemente California since 1971, surfing has taken Kurt to some of the most beautiful spots in the world. These experiences inspired the colorful, rich images of his acrylic paint, pen and ink, and paint pen creations. Residing in Puerto Rico since 2001, Kurt continues to express his love for the ocean and surfing in original canvas creations. Some of the companies Kurt has worked for as a freelance artist include: Gotcha, MCD, Rusty, O'Neill, Reef, Quiksilver, Rip Curl, Astrodeck, Bodyglove and even the good ol Grateful Dead.
