On the Road
Reality Series

With millions of viewers watching reality TV, we’re going beyond reality; we are going On the Road with Autism. With the greater need for continued exposure, we are producing a documentary style reality show on what it is like to live with autism. This in-depth reality series follows two families while they struggle to give their autistic and non-autistic children the opportunity to see places and experience things that seem commonplace to other families.

Travel with these special families as they go through real-life drama and difficulties; breakdowns & tantrums, obnoxious comments from unaware people, hurdles and societal road blocks. The group will go on adventures that truly test their patience and state of mind.

Just imagine your child getting out of the house at 3am searching through countless cars in the quest for precious candy, only to be locate by the police after they follow the trail of wrappers.

Or you hear screams from the pool area as the mass exodus runs past and you gaze into the pool only to find your child playing with what you hope is a Baby Ruth bar.

Feel sadness, compassion and happiness as we hit the road with this “colorful” group. You never know what is going to happen.

On the Road

The camp is staffed by caring experts trained in the wide spectrum of autism and the therapies necessary for growth in these special kids. While these children are given speech, behaviorial and

functional life skill lessons by trained therapists, they will also be having the time of their lives with a variety of exciting activities and adventures. The therapies are tied in with exciting sports such as hiking, fishing, kayaking, and horseback riding. This is an experience that is beneficial on so many planes and this is the one place these families can include all of their children in fun activities, while at the same time learning how best to deal with their children’s special needs.

The parents will truly enjoy themselves as they
relax in a stress free environment where all the needs of their children are met with smiles and
professionalism. Parents can reconnect with themselves and share experiences with other adults in similar
situations. This expands hope for these families and opens the door to new possibilities...creating a positive
enviroment of learning and fun.
